The project follows the old medical habit of learning from images and cases, but sets each one inside a hard historical frame. The articles move from fact into interpretation without putting the interpretation in a separate box: the boundary is held by tone, evidence and footnotes.
How sources are handled
Each article distinguishes the historical record from later interpretation. Names, dates, quotations, captions and image rights are checked against the cited library, archive, publisher or registry record when one is available. Uncertain dates and disputed attributions are stated as such; identifiers and links are verified rather than inferred.
Corrections
Readers who find a factual, bibliographic, transcription, image-credit or rights error may report it to the editorial contact. Please include the page URL, the passage or figure concerned and a supporting source. Substantive corrections are checked against the underlying record, applied to the page and logged in the corrections record. Email127avenue@gmail.com.
